The practical live fire element is designed to give individuals the confidence and techniques to identify a fire type and select the appropriate fire extinguisher confidently and safely. Providing personnel who would be expected to use a fire extinguisher in an emergency with the basic knowledge to identify different classes of fire, the individual will learn how to use the correct fire extinguisher safely and competently.
