CSCS cards provide proof that individuals working on construction sites have the appropriate training and qualifications for the job they do on-site. By ensuring that the workforce is appropriately qualified the card plays its part in improving standards and safety on UK construction sites.

When applying for a Green Labourers CSCS card you must have the appropriate construction related qualifications and training. We provide the one day Health & Safety Awareness course for which we are an accredited training centre.

Successful completion of this course along with the Health Safety & Environmental touch screen test will allow you to apply for your Green CSCS Labourers card. Candidates must have passed the CITB Health Safety and Environment touch screen test within the previous two years to be eligible to apply for the Green Labourers CSCS card.

CSCS was set up in the mid 90’s with the aim of improving site workers’ competence to reduce accidents and drive up on-site efficiency.

Cards are increasingly demanded as evidence of occupational competence by contractors, public and private clients and others, and today there are over 1.8 million cards in circulation. Applicants must pass a Health Safety and Environment test and then apply for the right industry related card.

The National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH) was formed in 1979 as an independent examining board and awarding body with charitable status.

NEBOSH values its status as a nationally recognised awarding body. In the UK, and increasingly worldwide, accreditation is recognised as a badge of quality adding value to qualifications.

NEBOSH has been a UK-recognised awarding body since 2000 and received Approved Awarding Body Status from the Qualifications Scotland Accreditation in 2009.

We offer a comprehensive range of globally-recognised, vocationally-related qualifications designed to meet the health, safety, environmental and risk management needs of all places of work in both the private and public sectors.

Courses leading to NEBOSH qualifications attract around 35,000 candidates annually and are offered by over 500 course providers, with exams taken in over 100 countries around the world. NEBOSH qualifications are recognised by the relevant professional membership bodies including the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) and the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (IIRSM).
