1 Day PAT Testing Course

Our 1 day PAT training course is designed to allow anyone to learn the necessary practical skills and knowledge to carry out the inspection and testing of electrical equipment to meet the electrical safety requirements of all industries.
The course is based on the IET Code of Practice and is made as practical as possible with the emphasis on hands-on learning. Delegates will receive a certificate of training upon successful completion of a 30 question multiple choice test and practical assessment.
This course is either held at client sites anywhere in the UK or various venues around the UK, including:
Swindon, Manchester, Heathrow, Dartford, Potters Bar, Southampton, Portsmouth, Exeter, Birmingham, Preston, Rotherham, Newcastle, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Carlisle, Peterborough, Norwich.
Who should attend
Any person required to test electrical items to prove their electrical safety.
Assessment – Candidates will complete a number of practical exercises throughout the day and complete a multiple choice examination at the end of the course.
Minimum age is 18, basic maths and English is a requirement.
We take you through everything, you will leave the course having covered everything you need to be successful in PAT testing.

All successful candidates that achieves a PASS in the multiple choice tests and practical assessment will receive a certificate of training and competence from ourselves.
The certificate will be valid for 3 years.
Course follows the IET code of practice for inservice inspection and testing of electrical equipment (4th Edition).
Basic maths and English is a requirement.
Minimum age is 18.
Travel charges may apply outside fo Swindon.
